We made plans and got a sitter to take the girls to their first minor league baseball game before I realized it was opening night for TS5 🫣 there was a hot minute it looked like it was going to be a washout so going to see TS5 became our rain plan, but it ended up being a beautiful night for baseball (and the Greenjackets won!).

Sooo we’ll get there someday, until then I need to live through everyone else who has seen it!

Trip Report: A Long Weekend at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort 🌴☀️

We spent a long weekend at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort recently, and it reminded me that sometimes the best family vacations aren’t packed with schedules and reservations. They’re the ones that allow you to slow down.

One of the biggest perks for our family was the drive. At about 3 hours from the Augusta area, it was a much easier travel day than many of our favorite vacation destinations.

We stayed in a 2-Bedroom Villa overlooking the marsh, which gave us plenty of space for our family of five plus a full kitchen. As strange as it felt to cook while on vacation, having the flexibility to make some meals in the room helped keep things easy (and budget-friendly).

Over the course of our stay we enjoyed:
