The Redhead MTB Park in Chisholm, MN 📍officially opened their pump track on Friday 🤘

The new track is part of their latest expansions including a campground, additional trails, changing stations & more in order to provide more amenities for riders. Organizations such as Iron Range Resources & Rehabilitation, the City of Chisholm, and some dedicated volunteers such as those from Iron Range Off-Road Cyclists have helped this park grow exponentially since it first opened in 2020.

With visitors coming from around the country as well as riders visiting internationally, this MTB Park, which was carved from the remnants of an iron mine reclaimed by nature, is set to blaze a new trail on what a mountain bike park can be 🙌

It ROCKS 🤘
The Minnesota Discovery Center recently reopened their renovated Hall of Geology which includes archaeological finds from the Mesabi Iron Range, a feature on Mary Ellen Jasper, and a lot of the geological features that make northeast Minnesota so unique.

Museum hours are Tuesday-Sunday from 10:00am-5:00pm 🗓

Starting Memorial Day weekend, the Lake Vermilion - Soudan Underground Mine State Park will resume operations 🙌
History and geology come together in this one-of-a-kind tour that takes visitors through the tunnels formerly used by iron miners in Tower, MN📍.

What to expect:
✅An "in depth" experience featuring the conditions faced by miners over 2,000 ft underground
✅Experienced, knowledgeable, and fun tour guides
✅A little bit of chill, so make sure to cover up‼
