whirlpool bath or Hot Tub in the Rain?

Have you ever been in a whirlpool bath or Hot Tub in the Rain? I have always dreamt of going to the hot springs in Japan - the ones that are atop snow covered mountains, but I haven't done it yet. So, this is my closest experience to that.

I had never done anything like this until last week. It was a marvelous experience. I was soaking in the hot water, enjoying the cool rain splashing down upon me. It was beautiful watching the momentum from the rain hit the water in the whirlpool bath and watch the water below push back upward. It was an enticing, like a fast moving choreographed dance.

Do you ever get that feeling? The one where you know you need to do something for yourself. You've been busy worrying about everyone else and everything that is necessary. You hit a wall and realize you need to incorporate a little more balance to your life? Well, I know I need to make time and get out of the house. It looks like it will be warm and sunny in my neck of the woods this weekend. I plan to head to the beach. I need to get some exercise and some sun in. :)

Do you plan to go to the beach, the lake, the mountains? I hope you have a chance to do so. I hope everyone has fun relaxing weekend!

Happy 4th of July!

I hope this message finds everyone happy, healthy, and safe this Fourth of July Holiday! Do you have any adventures planned? Are you lighting fireworks? Are you going to see fireworks? Do you plan to go see friends or family and BBQ? What do you love about the 4th?

The Fourth of July makes me think about how I believe it is important to celebrate our country's freedom and remember those who have passed that made my current situation possible. I feel grateful. I also really enjoy lighting fireworks, too.

Do you have any adventures planned this Father's Day weekend?

What are some of your fondest memories of your Father or the Father figure that made their way into your life? I know everyone has varied memories of this person and some not so good as others, but in certain circumstances other people in your life may have made up this role. Who were/are they? What did you enjoy about them? What did you enjoy doing with them? I think days like Father's Day are to celebrate the memories of you and those individuals - what both of you enjoyed when you spent time together.

I plan to skype my dad this Father's Day weekend. I hope to do more than this in the future. Just remember, life is too short. Remember to cherish the relationships and experiences within those relationships that you've had.

What are your plans this weekend? Do you have any adventures planned? I know most of the US has warmed up and I've seen my friend going hiking and venturing out this weekend.

Earlier today I was thinking about how it would be nice to have a picnic at one of the parks.

If you find yourself wanting to get out and check out a hiking trail in your area, one site I've used is AllTrails.com. Depending on the state trails aren't marked very clearly. In my opinion, trails in Utah are very noticeable and clearly marked. However, other states I've traveled to; I've noticed that trails are as clearly mark as they were in Utah. So, be safe and careful out there. Make sure you don't forget any snacks, water or even an emergency kit.
