Cooler mornings, leaves beginning to turn and that first hint of fall in the air. Excelsior might be known for its summers on Lake Minnetonka, but we think there’s something pretty special about this little town once fall arrives.
Mornings start a little slower at The Beehive. Make coffee, crack open a book, take your time deciding what to do with the day.
When you’re ready, step outside and wander Water Street. Grab something warm to drink, browse the shops, walk toward the lake and see where the afternoon takes you. No itinerary necessary, everything is just a few steps away.
Then come back to your little corner of our 1857 Beehive. A puzzle on the table, something warm in your mug, maybe watch a good movie.
Sometimes fall doesn’t need a big getaway. Just a night or two somewhere that makes slowing down feel easy. 🍂
