Currently staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and man this resort is HUGE! We got a corner room in the tower so one window shows a view of Mt Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom off in the distance, but the other window shows a beautiful view of the resort grounds. The main pool has a cool water slide for the kiddos and the resort gift shop has all the neccessities. The food court is not the greatest, in my opinion, but there are other restaurants within the tower you can go to; we just chose not to this trip. We also had a great view of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom each night from our room.

One night in Disney Springs area and thought we would try the new Drury Plaza hotel and it did not disappoint. Very spacious and clean. There is a “Kickback” at 5:30pm every night with food and drinks (3 free alcoholic drinks for those old enough) and also free buffet-style breakfast every morning. Free shuttles to all 4 Disney theme parks and restaurants on site. Pool, hot tub and kids’ splash pad makes this hotel a very nice alternative to staying on Disney property. My husband and I are finishing our stay at Disney’s All Star Movies resort and we had a great time. The themes are so cute and the staff was amazing. Would be perfect for a family of 2-4.
