Provisions Library - The Arts of Social Change Provisions is a research and development center for arts and social change. Visitors, interns and volunteers welcome!

To visit: call 202-670-7768 Email us: [email protected] Website and Blog: www.provisionslibrary.com/ Provisions is a platform for creating a more inclusive, resourceful, and connected society through art and culture. We research, produce, and amplify art and creative practices that question, expand and reflect upon the premise of society–its expressions and its aspirations. We chart pa

st and future avenues for art as engagement, empowerment, and connection through works that tell stories, investigate ideas, and explore the poetics and affective experience of cultural inclusion. We work to integrate artists and creative futures into institutions, organizations, and the public sphere (government, education, and museums). We amplify the relevance of creative practice to the broader arenas of community and cultural development through the creation of interactions between artists and publics that generate learning and exchange. We open our resources, information, and projects to people for use, adaption, critique, transformation, and development. We examine themes including our meridians, the future of the book, library, the possibilities and fields for art, social attitudes, and creative public policy.

AGUSTINA WOODGATE
Critical Circulation

Agustina Woodgate creates art across multiple disciplines, her primary focus being the interplay between human beings and their surroundings. Striving to create work that fosters human relationships, Woodgate has produced public works such as park benches and color-changing billboards and bus shelters.

This event will be a LIVE radio broadcast on Agustina’s channel radioee.net. Woodgate will be joined by Stephanie Sherman (collaborator and co-founder of Radioee.net), Don Russell (University Curator at Mason), and Federico Curuchet (art dealer from Buenos Aires).

During the radio show, she will play clips of past shows as well as speak with guests about Radioee, her recent exhibit at Mason, and her public artworks.

Radioee.net (Radio Espacio Estacion) is a nomadic, multi-lingual, online radio station hosting 24-hr marathon transmissions about mobility and movement. Their broadcasts explore topics of communication, migration, and transportation through conversation, music, and sound, often while on the move.
