Never used a travel agent? Have questions? Here are some answers to very commonly asked questions!
Q: How does this work?
A: It all starts with an inquiry! Whether it be a Facebook message, email, phone call, text message, whatever, I gather all of the information I need to begin helping you plan your perfect trip. Based off your destination, what you want to do, budget, and other factors, I will create a few options for you and quote you a trip perfectly curated for you! When you decide to book your trip, I take care of all of the details from there! From ensuring you're sitting with your party on the airplane to finding a rental car for you, you can rest assured it will be taken care of! I see your trip through from the moment we book, until you return home! I can plan as much or as little as possible. Whether it be simply working out the logistics of getting you to your destination, or if you want to book tours and excursions at your destination!
Q: How do you get paid? Does it cost me anything?
A: I get paid directly through the suppliers that I book through, I never charge planning services or up-charges for anything! I don't get paid until the month after (sometimes longer) you return home from your trip. It does NOT cost you anything to use me as your travel agent! Resorts, hotels, etc. all have taxes/fees built into their price whether I book them or you book them. Transparency with this is always important to me with my clients. I never want someone to worry that their trip will hit the back burner! I do not get paid an hourly wage, I do not get paid up front, and I do not get paid for the quotes that I put together! I spend hours at times combing through hotels, resorts, flights, etc. to find you the perfect trip. You can rest assured there is no flight risk when using me as your agent.
Q: Why should I use a travel agent? What benefit does that give me?
A: Using a travel agent guarantees that you have someone in your corner throughout your ENTIRE trip until your feet hit the ground at home! Don't worry about spending 3-5 hours on your trip on hold with an airline because your flight got canceled. Don't argue with the hotel because they put you in the wrong room. Don't stress over the fine details of your trip like if you will sit together on the airplane or if your rental car will be big enough for your family. Don't stress over finding the perfect hotel within budget that is also within walking distance to your destination. Don't stress finding all of your staterooms close together on your cruise. Let me take care of all of that! You get my travel expertise, a specially curated trip to your desires and likings, and someone to take care of the mundane and frustrating parts of traveling.
Q: Once I'm booked, do I hear from you again until I travel?
A: I am here 24/7 for you! I will check in on the planning process if I am not helping with excursions, and I'm always a phone call or message away if you have any questions, no matter how far away your trip is! I'm available before, during, and after your trip to help in any way. If there is a question I don't know, I have senior advisors available at all times as well to help us navigate whatever you need.
