We need prayers now more than ever! There is a big concern with Katelynn's Spinal Fluid Pressure. Please pray this isn't the case and it's all residual from surgery! Believe, Trust, Pray!!!!! Next 48 hours are critical!

The nurses and doctors were finally able to find a mixture of meds to settle her pain. However, she is in the middle where now there is concern for her respiratory system as her stats keep dropping. We feel God is giving her breakthrough comfort and peace. Pray she doesn't have to have narcan and her pain regimen will begin to work! They took her for scans to rule out several things due to her pain being so severe. It was scary but praising God they were good! She is trying to rest now. Continue to pray for her strength, pain, and recovery! She did have music therapy come and play several worship songs this morning. Regardless of the struggle, we are feeling God's presence.

As I sit in my room awaiting Katelynn’s third and hopefully last surgery the thoughts of all my family, friends, old classmates, and many others that have reached out and contributed to getting my little girl better. My family is blessed to have everyone in our lives. At the end of all of this we will know his purpose of it all but until then we will all pray for his guidance tomorrow for her surgical team operates on her to relieve the stress of the fluid. Also for strength for Katelynn through all of this but as I left the hospital tonight she was at peace with everything after hearing her blaring praise music and dancing with her arms to it before she tried to go to sleep. Her faith has changed me in many ways. We love everyone of you all and are forever grateful for all everyone has done. Please pray for her tomorrow as she goes into surgery around lunchtime. We will do our best to let everyone know how it goes.

We apologize for the delayed update. We have been processing the next step on this medical journey. On Monday around noon, Katelynn will be having another Surgery. This is not what anyone expected, but it is extremely neccessary! There is alot of uncertainty and uncharted territory for us. We are in constant prayer that this is what her body needs to resolve and heal. Please pray for Katelynn's next surgery to be successful with the best resolution. Pray for her to have miraculous healing, peace and comfort! Pray for her Surgeon and Surgery Team, Pray for her siblings as this is a tough time for them too. Just pray! It's hard to understand why Katelynn has endured so much, but we know there is a bigger reason beyond our comprehension. Only God knows! We are continuing to trust his path and believe this is part of her and our story! 💜🙏

Continued Prayers are needed! We didn't get the results we hoped for today. We talked over the results with her surgeon and some big decisions will be made in the next 24 hours. Please pray for her Surgeon that he can rest and get the answers he needs to move forward. Pray for Katelynn as she is physically been and continuing to go through it. Pray for us, as we are emotionally drained. Pray for the our other kids we have to apart. Just pray for healing! Whatever God has planned next, there is a reason. Let us believe there is hope and restoration coming soon.

We need BIG Prayers!!! Yesterday Katelynn's lumbar drain was clamped and we got her up. Shortly after she got a severe headache and nauseous. She was up for around 30 minutes. Upon getting her in the bed, we noticed she had a small pocket of fluid at the top of her incisions. When speaking with her doctor today, we sensed the level of concern. Tomorrow they will take Katelynn for an MRI. The plan is to sit down with her Surgeon and review the MRI scans to see what the next steps are. We are trying not to get ahead of ourselves, as there is so much to think about. However, we are concentrating on the here and now. We are trying to be patient. We know God is in control! We are still in prayer of complete healing. We have confidence in her Surgeon, and we know God will lead the way! Katelynn's case is very complex, but we know if anyone can get through it, she can! 51 days Post Op from 1st Surgery and 9 days Post Op from 2nd Surgery. 46 days in the Hospital.... It's hard for a 14 year old or even a 42 year old to not count the days.... However, this is a glimpse in what God has in store of survival for the reward of better days ahead! We trust, we believe, we pray! Please pray with us! 💜🙏

I figured I would go with a different picture of myself for this one. I’m running out of pictures to use so. Katelynn has had a couple not eventful days the past couple of days which is good. Praise God for that. She is going on day six of having to completely lay on her back flat. Please pray for her for the next 48 hours, because we will be doing some things with her that will test if the surgery worked or not. She still has a long road to recovery still ahead of her but she is positive and faithful. Thank you to all of our friends and family that have reached out and donated towards our cause. Also for the many thoughts and prayers. We could not be where we are without you guys. we love each and every one of you guys.
