✈️🏖️Our own Will Lee just returned from an incredible 6-night stay in the Maldives, splitting time between two resorts — Adaraan Prestige Vadoo and Heritance Aarah.
Will admits he’s not typically a “beach vacation” guy, but even he said this trip felt like “the first time I truly felt like I was in paradise.” His wife called it her favorite vacation ever!
Getting to the Maldives is a journey, so Will recommends a stopover in Dubai or Abu Dhabi to break up the long flights. Once you arrive, you’ll find yourself surrounded by endless turquoise water, white sand, and some of the most beautiful overwater villas in the world.
Adaraan Prestige Vadoo is just 30 minutes by speedboat from Malé. It offers overwater villas with direct ocean access, plunge pools, and ocean views right from bed. The island is small and easy to explore, the food is solid, and the service is friendly. Will described it as a “premium” experience—nice, but not quite luxury.
Heritance Aarah, on the other hand, completely exceeded expectations. Reached by a 40-minute seaplane flight, it recently earned Condé Nast’s Best All-Inclusive Resort in the World (2024). The resort is modern, spacious, and truly delivers on every level—gourmet dining, thoughtful butler service, and unforgettable snorkeling where Will spotted sea turtles, stingrays, and reef sharks.
He rated Aarah a ✨10 out of 10✨, calling it one of the best travel experiences he’s ever had.
