🇵🇦🙏🏽 PRAYERS FOR PANAMA! 🙏🏽🇵🇦
My heart goes out to the beautiful people of Panama following reports of a massive 7.7 magnitude earthquake on October 9, 2026. 💔
The earthquake was centered near Pitaloza Arriba in Herrera Province, southwest of Panama City. Although the epicenter was not in Panama City, the shaking was felt there, causing evacuations and disruptions as authorities assessed the damage.
As someone who loves traveling the world, news like this really touches my heart. I have a Princess cruise planned for January that includes the Panama Canal, so I have been following the situation closely.
I am thankful for the reports that the Panama Canal remains operational, but my greatest concern is for the families, residents, and communities affected by this disaster.
Traveling has taught me that these beautiful destinations are so much more than places on a map. They are home to people with families, dreams, businesses, and lives that can change in an instant.
🙏🏽 Heavenly Father, I lift up the people of Panama in prayer. Cover every family with Your protection. Bring comfort to those who are afraid, strength to those facing uncertainty, and healing to the communities affected. Guide the emergency responders, protect those working to assess the damage, and give the people of Panama the strength to recover and rebuild.
May peace replace fear, hope overcome uncertainty, and love surround every family during this difficult time. ❤️
