Wow wow WOW- what a show!! Thank you to Fantastic Cat for putting on a phenomenal show last night at the Narrows Center for the Arts festival!

Especially appreciate band members DiLego and Anthony D’Amato for taking a few minutes post show to film this short video with us and give us a little more info about their newest album “Cat Out of Hell”, available now on Apple Music and Spotify

And you heard it here first -- the next time they’re in town playing at The Narrows we’re taking them on a tour of Fall River! Drop some suggestions in the comments for where we should take them!

Announcement about today’s Take Me to the River event. Please read if you were planning to attend.

Take Me To The River is MOVING INSIDE! The feel-good free event of the century is still on, but moving to the Narrows Center for the Arts at 16 Anawan St. Fall River, MA. We'll see you all there!
Doors will open at 3pm. This free concert features performances by the Anders Osborne Band, Fantastic Cat, and Neal McCarthy Electric Band.
Parking: the Narrows' lots will be open, there will be NO trolley service

🐐🌱 Help a Fall River family grow a farm for the community!

You may have not have heard about DT Empire A Family Farm, a family-owned working farm right here in Fall River, but the Torres family has been welcoming children, families, students, residential programs, and visitors with disabilities to experience animals, agriculture, nature, and farm life firsthand.

Now, they’re asking for the community’s help as they work to make the farm safer, more accessible, and ready to welcome even more visitors.

They’ve launched a GoFundMe with a $50,000 goal to support improvements including accessible restroom facilities, better pathways and visitor areas, fencing and animal enclosures, barns and shelters, property cleanup, and improvements to spaces used for educational and community programs.

Every contribution helps, but you can also support their efforts simply by sharing their story and helping spread the word.

Yasmina Reza’s Tony Award-winning comedy brings together one painting, three longtime friends, and a friendship put hilariously to the test. It’s smart, funny, and a great excuse for a night out.

Oh and for fun, at the least opportune point of the night bring up that thing that you've always wanted to say, but never said. Roll the dice and see if your friendship handles a test! Okay, okay! Maybe wait until after the show, but get your tickets!

🎶🌊 Take Me to the River is THIS SATURDAY, August 22, and Fall River’s waterfront is the place to be!

Presented by Mechanics Cooperative Bank and the Narrows Center for the Arts, this FREE festival at the Tom Norton City Pier brings together live music, great food, cold drinks, and one of the best waterfront settings in the city.

And yes, come hungry! 🍴 The food lineup includes Blount Clam Shack, Duke’s Chicken & Waffles, Bem Bom, The Book n’ Brew, Friskie Fries, Pit Stop Street Food, What’s Up Cupcake, BBQ Y Mas, and Green Jar Cocina. Canned Heat and Party with Primo will be serving adult beverages, too.

Getting there is part of the fun. Park at the Narrows Center lots and hop aboard the free trolley running all day, ride the MBTA to the nearby Fall River station, take the water taxi, or really do it right and dock your boat at the pier. Paid parking is also available at the MBTA station and the 81 Ferry Street lot.

Music. Food. Drinks. Waterfront. Summer in Fall River. ☀️🌊🎶
