Visit Fallon

Visit Fallon Hello! Visit Fallon connects you to the things to do and places to go in the Oasis of Nevada. Welcome to Fallon, the "Oasis of Nevada."

Fallon is on Highway 50, 60 miles east of Reno. It is surrounded by farms and ranches, and the Lahontan Valley Wetlands - a birder's paradise. Fallon offers the outdoors, the arts, shops, and a menu of special events year round including a summer farmer's market and the Hearts of Gold Cantaloupe Festival. The Navy's TOP GUN School is located here. And Fallon is a destination for meetings and small conventions. Come to play or come to stay.

We’re not sure what the secret to happiness is…But maybe it looks a little like open roads, beautiful sunsets, time spent outside, and discovering somewhere new.

We have a feeling you might find a little of it here in Fallon.

What was once a Fallon schoolhouse is now one of the community’s go-to spots for art, music and live performances.

Oats Park Art Center is home to rotating exhibits, the Barkley Theatre and a full calendar of events throughout the year. It’s also one of those places where the building itself is just as interesting as what you’ll find inside. If you haven’t spent some time exploring Oats Park yet, add it to your list the next time you’re in Fallon. 🎨 https://www.churchillarts.org/

This Labor Day, Fallon is celebrating some of the people who make our community so special.

The Fallon Lions Club Labor Day Parade returns Monday, September 7th, with this year’s theme honoring Churchill County educators. Come and help us cheer on the teachers, school staff and community members who show up for local students year after year. The parade begins at 10 a.m. at Taylor and Virginia streets.

We’ll see you along the parade route! 🇺🇸 https://visitfallonnevada.com/events/lions-club-labor-day-parade/
