Today I was shocked and saddened to find out that a friend of mine, a retired National Guard Officer, took his life a couple of days ago. We had chatted a couple of weeks ago and planned on getting together for ci**rs when I'm back in DC in a month. Had to just sit and have a cigar in his memory.

Now that she has finished her military service she has started to take a professional baking class. My visit to Israel included tasting much of her class work.
