Last week we announced our new Need a Bookkeeper? initiative.
Need a Bookkeeper? connects Certified Public Bookkeepers with bookkeeping employers and clients.
NACPB's website now has a navigation bar link Need a Bookkeeper?.

The link navigates employers and clients to our new Need a Bookkeeper? website page.
The page introduces employers and prospective clients to Certified Public Bookkeepers and allows them to complete a Need a Bookkeeper? questionnaire. The questionnaire identifies the bookkeeper they need.
NACPB will communicate the job or prospective client opportunity to our member CPBs.

We'll begin a national digital marketing awareness campaign directing bookkeeping employers and prospective clients to the page this coming week.

What are White Label Accounting Services?
White label accounting services are bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, and tax services performed by white label accounting providers on behalf of accounting service companies.

Accounting service companies provide bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, and tax services to the public. White label service providers don’t provide accounting services to the public. Their clients are the accounting service companies.

Benefits of White Label Accounting Services
Accounting service companies use white label accounting services to perform their bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, or tax employees or expand their service offerings.

For example, a tax company may use white label tax services during tax season or make a strategic decision to offer bookkeeping and payroll services to their business tax clients.

Accounting service companies save time and money. They don’t have to hire, train, manage, or support bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, or tax service employees.

On Monday, February 3, NACPB will begin our “Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB)” national brand awareness digital marketing campaign.

The campaign differentiates the value and benefits of a “Certified Public Bookkeeper or CPB” over a “bookkeeper”.

Brand awareness is a marketing term for the degree to which consumers recognize a product by its name. Ideally, consumers' awareness of the brand not only means recognition but also includes positive perceptions of the product versus the competition.

Studies have found that consumers naturally pay more attention to products with higher brand awareness, influencing how well they recognize and remember these brands.

Over the next few weeks NACPB will present what we are doing to build the CPB brand and how current and future CPBs can assist us in this campaign.

NACPB Will No Longer Receive Telephone Calls

NACPB has spent the last year migrating from receiving telephone calls and emails to only receiving texts and emails. This goal enables us to quickly respond to the tens of thousands of communications we receive each year.

Since our founding in 2006, NACPB has experienced exponential growth due to the quality of our bookkeeping education, certification, training, experience, licensing, and support.

NACPB is America's leading bookkeeping association and develops America's most qualified bookkeepers.

As of 01/15/2025, NACPB will no longer receive telephone calls.

New NACPB Website Member's Only Portal Update

We are now in the process of having members set up their membership accounts on NACPB's new website, certifiedpublicbookkeeper.org.
The old website address, nacpb.org, will be redirected to the new website on Saturday, January 18.
The old website will no longer exist after Friday, January 17.

Yesterday, we sent NACPB members step-by-step instructions as to how set up your membership on the new site.
You will not need to set up your membership by Friday, January 17. You can set it up at anytime as long as your membership is current.
However, you won't have access to the Member's Only Portal and its resources or be able to purchase items at your 20% member discount until you do.

Please Note
Once you have set up your account, to access the Member's Only Portal or purchase items at your member discounted rate, you will need to log in.
When you set up your new account, it does not transfer your member information.
When you set up your membership, your membership expiration date will be December 31, 2025.
We'll be providing more information on Monday.
What's Next?
The next step is to set up your accreditations, i.e., NACPB certifications and/or licenses. That step will take place next week on Monday, January 20.
We'll send you instructions as to how this is to be done on Monday, January 20.

Very Important NACPB Membership Information

New Website Member's Only Portal Setup

We continue to have many members who joined on the old website, nacpb.org, requesting member access to the new website, certifiedpublicbookkeeper.org.

Therefore, we have transferred all active nacpb.org memberships to certifiedpublicbookkeeper.org.

Effective immediately, you can set up your certifiedpublicbookkeeper.org membership.

What You Need to Know
1. You will not be able to access the old site, nacpb.org after this Friday, January 13, 2025.
2. We have extended your membership expiration date on the new site to December 31, 2025.
Set Up Instructions

To set up your active membership on the new site:
1. Go to https://www.certifiedpublicbookkeeper.com and select Login in the upper right hand corner.
2. Under the Password field, select Forgot password?.
3. Enter the email associated with your old nacpb.org account and select Submit.
4. A green box will appear "Request has been sent. Please check your email to continue."
5. Check your email for a message with the subject: "Reset password link for www.certifiedpublicbookkeeper.org".
6. Select the link to reset your password.
7. This takes you back to the certifiedpublicbookkeeper.org website with a new screen with 2 password input boxes.
8. New password, and
9. Confirm new password
10. If both passwords match, a button will appear that says "Continue".
11. Select it and it will take you to the new website dashboard.
We’ll be providing tips on how to use the new site’s Members Only portal.
