How lucky are we that guests have come to the treehouse from near & far to celebrate new chapters in life (or to rest from previous ones😊).
We have celebrated engagements, honeymoons, even new brides and grooms! New retirees traveling across country, new grandparents coming to meet new grand babies, parents dropping their grown babies off at the university, graduations, birthdays, & and even junior pro mountain bikers taking on the events up north.
Those are all special but when we get to celebrate one of our own, it makes it even sweeter. Luke joined us as a landscaper and videographer a few months ago. Last night, he celebrated making it to 18, graduating high school, & his acceptance to the Mines, in Colorado ( ). We are so proud of you Luke. Now go change the world.💫

We’re boasting some new editions to the treehouse! View our new coffee nook & beverage bar. Michael from gifted us one last favor and created custom shelving for the kitchen.
This cheerful spot hosts basic mugs, glasses, & bowls.
Next, we couldn’t resist adding a nugget ice maker for those perfect cool beverages on the deck! Guests can also use a manual grinder for a steaming whole bean roasted cup of joe ☕️ in the mornings.
We didn’t want our guests stay to get away without the opportunity to pair their favorite tunes to the clear sound of the Marshall blue tooth speaker in the living room. Sit. Sip. & Enjoy.

The treehouse officially opened as an AirBnB this weekend. We are adding link in our bio!
A few of our favorite features added to custom built treehouse, are the authentic wood stove added to keep you toasty, the slider doors that open the living room up & get you closer to those trees, the soaking tub and rain shower places both inside and out to give you a relaxing way to refresh. These are a few extras but don’t compare to the design, use and craftsmanship completed by the carpenters to make this a standout and sturdy structures for decades.
We are so grateful for all of the ideas, recommendations, and local friends that we collaborated with to make this space a one of a kind.

We are thrilled about the recent install of the sturdy steel front door for the treehouse. It adds an element of structure and style and will continue to be durable and low maintenance for years to come! Now cross your fingers 🤞🏻the windows are delivered soon.

As you probably know, spiral staircases are still prominent in many homes, apartments, and work spaces. This timeless structure saves space, but also provide a captivating focal point. We chose to order our custom
built stair case from a talented local iron works company, here in Northwest Arkansas. Over the years, Bray Iron Works has forged a reputation in NWA as the finest producers of custom spiral staircases and ornamental iron.
We are so happy with the the quality and beauty of the new spiral addition, and look forward to adding the final touch with various species of oak treads. It will be one of a kind!

Bod’ark Trees are scattered throughout the property of Whitetail & Pine. These trees are a cousin to the Mulberry tree, and were named by the Osage Indians. Bod’ark translates to “wood of the bow.”
The natives used the wood primarily for weaponry because the pliable wood was suitable for making longbows & spears.
One other interesting fact about these trees…according to folklore, the dropped fruit repels numerous insects, including spiders and cockroaches. Whohooo, one of the reason we keep them around!

Meet the owners! Ross and Jennifer have been married almost 15 years, & they two great kiddos.
Ross is an investor and Jen is a therapist. Together, they had a dream to build a quiet space for relaxation, rejuvenation, and reflection. Jen envisioned a therapeutic cabin for couples or individuals who prefer a serene setting for their counseling sessions; and Ross brought this vision full circle by developing an idea for a structure, right on the creek, using a treehouse design.
Jen will be hosting counseling intensives at the treehouse, but there are plenty of nights and weekends that guests can book to enjoy the scenery, take a walk under the trees or soak in the hot tub. They could not be more excited for this dream to become a reality! (In 3 months eeek).🌳

The walls are up and the vision is coming to light. Western red cedar tongue & groove siding arrived this week and is being installed. We can’t wait for the spiral staircase that leads to that loft.

If you're a chocolate lover then you must visit the Markham & Fitz Dessert Bar & Cafe' at 8th Street Market in Bentonville. Founded by two University of Arkansas graduates in 2014, Markham & Fitz can now be found in Anthropologie stores across the country and they were featured in The O magazine. We're lucky enough to have them right here in Northwest Arkansas where you must stop to enjoy dessert, a cup of hot chocolate or a chocolate cocktail!
