Thank you for a wonderful weekend! We appreciate the decades of dedication and inspiration 🥲 This is so much more than a club, its an incredibly passionate group of individuals that provide insight and exploration opportunities to the public. For a small fee you can join in on monthly meet ups where a wide range of topics are discussed and taught. The mining trips are often in places the general public can not go so you're getting exclusive access and hands on training with seasoned professionals! Come brush shoulders with the people that helped put gems on the Maine map! Join your local mining club to learn more 🫶

Join us this Saturday and Sunday at the Kennebec Rocks and Minerals Club gem show 🤩

This show has been a staple in our summer for years, if you like science and nature it may become one of yours aswell!

Stop by and say hello 👋 The Sensi Side Gallery booth can be found on the stage once you get inside. You will also find raffle opportunities and live demonstrations, don't miss out get the information at the door! 🥳 Coming to an event like this is a fun way to support your local mining clubs and fellow adventurers 🫶

Discover the excitement of a gem show!

These events bring together an incredible variety of treasures, intricately carved stones, raw minerals straight from the mine, absolutely breath taking jewelry and gems, fossils, large statement pieces, animal carvings, petrified wood, if its a mineral....its here ✨️ It’s the perfect chance to explore, shop, and take home something truly special.

Gem shows are also a great place to learn. Miners, collectors, and experts are there to share their knowledge. Whether you’re interested in crystals, jewelry-making, or just love the beauty of natural stones, you’ll enjoy connecting with others who share your passion. A gem show is more than shopping—it’s an inspiring experience for all ages!

The Kennebec Rocks and Minerals Club has been hosting this show for decades, and we are grateful to have such a wonderful event in our states capital. Maine has so many great minerals and experienced miners, all found at this show! If you love science and nature, this is the show for you👍

A glimpse of the 2025 Houston Museum of Natural Science exhibit hosted by the East Coast Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show 💎✨️

The ticket prices for these events are next to nothing, often times the smaller ones are free to the public! If Science and outdoor hobbies interest you, support your local mining clubs by attending🫶

There is so much to look at and learn, you can easily get lost in a place like this 🤭 A maze of crystals, our favorite adventure!

Calcite w/ Quartz Variety Amethyst 🤌

"Within this section of a pale Amethyst geode are groups of rounded modified scalenohedral crystals of pale buff Calcite ✨️ Calcite has a very wide variety of crystal forms and can appear very different in specimens even from the same locality."

"La Madona Rosa"
Lavra Berilo Branco, Sapucaia do Norte, Galicia, Doce Valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

"At the end of the 1950s a spectacular pocket of Rose-Quartz clusters was discovered in a small mining prospect called Lavra Berilo Branco ("White Beryl Mine") in Brazil 🇧🇷 A large pocket of crystals produced amazing specimens of rose-colored quartz with smokey quartz, a stunning combination amongst the best ever discovered! This exceptionally large specimen was named due to its strong resemblance to traditional depictions of the Virgin Mary to classical statues and icons, and remains an icon for the locality"

Thank you Houston Museum of Natural Science for bringing this and many other jaw dropping pieces to the 2025 West Springfield Massachusetts East Coast Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show 🫶✨️
