We have some new friends here in the Mount Hermon Adventures Adventure Center! Signal Crayfish🦞 Their names are Eddie and Pepe!

Some fun facts about them:
🐛 They are omnivores and have a varied diet of bugs, invertebrates, and all sorts of plant matter
💤 These guys are nocturnal, so they love to sleep most of the day and come out to play during the night
🦴 Crayfish molt! When they get too big for their exoskeleton, they crawl out of the old and make a new skeleton

How cray-z is that? Next time you're in the Adventure Center, swing by and say hello to our new friends!

Here at Mount Hermon Adventures, you can see many creatures while you're out on the course. One of those creatures might be the Mourning Dove🕊

The Mourning Dove gets their name from their distinctive, mournful cooing call 🎶 Their average lifespan is typically about 2-4 years, but it has been known to live longer!

Next time you're hanging out in the trees, make sure to look for the Mourning Dove🕊
