Some stories don’t just belong to the past, they shape the place we call home today.

This weekend, we were honored to welcome back descendants of the First 85, the families who left the Jim Crow South in 1898 and helped build the Fergus Falls we know now. Seeing them walk through this history together was a powerful reminder of how far reaching one act of courage can be.
