Bringing your furry friend along for a beach getaway? Here are a few tips to make your trip smooth and enjoyable:

✔️ Check Pet Policies – Ensure your accommodations and local beaches allow pets. Amelia Island has pet friendly beaches but pet must be kept on a leash. We also have a lovely dog park with a pool shaped like a bone!

✔️ Pack the Essentials – Bring food, water, a leash, waste bags, bedding and a favorite toy to keep your pet comfortable.

✔️ Plan for Breaks – Long car rides? Stop frequently for water and stretch breaks.

✔️ Be Mindful of the Heat – The Florida sun can be intense. Keep pets hydrated and avoid hot pavement and sand.

✔️ Respect Local Rules – Always clean up after your pet and follow leash laws to keep everyone safe and happy.
