2025 came and went like a messy, chaotic wave. It was hard to read, stronger than expected, didn’t look to big at first but landed with a force to be reckoned with.

Sea kayaking has taught me many important lessons that I often use to navigate my life. Instead of trying to maintain rigid control in messy currents or unexpected wave I now surrender to flow, let go.

It’s about trusting your boat, trusting your skills, really being nowhere else but in the moment, and allowing experience, with all its flaws and ecstasy, to guide one’s art and life, transforming struggle into creation.

I hope you all had a great 2025 and cheers to the fresh new year that awaits you! May you turn all the difficulties and ugly that life throws at you in to something beautiful. Happy 2026!
