🌟 COMING SOON: Pianist Yulianna Avdeeva presents ‘Metanoia’, exploring the later piano music of Franz Liszt.

The album was recorded at Tippet Rise Art Center and highlights works that show Liszt’s evolution from virtuoso to visionary, whose ideas influenced many major 20th-century composers. This release marks Avdeeva’s return to the label PENTATONE following her acclaimed 2025 recording of Shostakovich’s Preludes & Fugues.

‘Metanoia’ will be released on August 28th.

On a recent Saturday, the Songs of Spring recital brought children from throughout region to perform at Tippet Rise in the Olivier Music Barn. For many of the students, it was the first time they had visited Tippet Rise. For several of the pianists, it was their first time playing a Steinway grand piano. For everyone, performers and audience members alike, it was a joyful celebration of musicmaking.

When Sir Stephen Hough and Viano Quartet performed Hough's Piano Quintet (𝘓𝘦𝘴 𝘕𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘙𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘦𝘴) at Tippet Rise, photographer Kevin Kinzley documented the evening which including a pre-concert talk with Peter Halstead and Pedja Mužijević.
