I may not have a booth at Overland Expo this year, but my BMW 1250 GS Rallye is an official display bike 🏍️ (and looks so sexy modeling some WestWind Moto luggage)! Luckily for me, my adventure moto rental services are available in Flagstaff year round, not just for one weekend!!

Guided ride to the Grand Canyon yesterday to check off a bucket list item for Peter Haeberlin! It was windy 💨 but clear. EoA Tours is conveniently located within striking distance of many southwestern National Parks and scenic destinations with twisty roads and jaw dropping views!

Monument Valley 🏜️- one of many bucket list destinations within a half day’s ride of the Edge of Adventure Basecamp! Jaw dropping scenery is around every corner in the Southwest, but this is particularly impressive!

Every vehicle I brought on this tour managed to leak a new and exciting fluid! Oil from the 850 side case ( easy enough to tighten bolts at camp), a blown fork seal and bushing on the 790, and worst of all, gear oil from what ended up being a grenaded rear pinion gear on my 4runner that nobody in Flagstaff could fix because it’s regeared. I towed the bikes home, topping off gear oil as I went, then got to careen down I-17 ( checked my roadside assistance and life insurance beforehand) to Westcott Designs in Phoenix to get my rear gears inspected and replaced by offroad pros. I had to rent a car briefly in there, and it got a flat, too. 🫠🙃😵‍💫 is it even an adventure if you truly didn’t know if you’d ever see pavement again?

Grateful to have moved back to my home state 🏜️, being close to family, and endless riding opportunities close by. Happy Thanksgiving to all, especially those who have the watch!
