Our Story

KC HiLITES created the market for off-road lighting in the 1960’s.

With a passion for the outdoors and a drive for solving a common problem, American entrepreneur Pete Brown, created the Daylighter because he wanted to be able to see better at night when he went camping with his family. The company started out in a garage, but has grown into an internationally known lighting brand. The company has evolved since then into an iconic brand in the off-road space, as well as a household name in the consumer market.

KC HiLiTES has made a quality product since the 1970s and continues to innovate in the space with various types of LED Light Bars, and auxiliary lighting for the Jeep, UTV and Truck market.
