This has been many years in the making! I actually started working with a company in 2020 with some different website ideas, but it just got too overwhelming with cancelling bookings, and I didn't even know the future of my business.

Having traveling traditions is such a fun thing to look forward to. Year #6 of our girls trip.. loading 🎉

Normally this is a girls wine trip, but this year will look a little different while we are traveling from Salt Lake City to Denver on the Canyon Spirit train. But we will be able to sip on some wine watching the Wild West go by 🙌

Today I was talking to a new agent and I saw another travel agent's post and it made me reflect on my own journey. Over 9 years ago, I took a leap of faith starting my own business. Never having worked in the travel industry before, some thought I was foolish, some told me travel was a dying career and that I would make no money. I still followed my dream of becoming a travel agent!

At that time, I was desperate to travel and explore the world. These pictures are of my first international trip to Iceland after I became an agent. I had the bright idea of renting a Ford Transit van and we would drive the full circle around Iceland in 5 days. No bathroom, just a bed in the back and campground stays along the way (well one night on a helicopter pad on accident but that is a story for another day 🤣).

As I look back at these pictures, I would have never thought I would have already been to 48 different countries, stayed at so many luxury resorts around the world and sailed on luxury cruises that I only could dream of. I am forever grateful but also will never forget that spirit of the girl in these pictures that just wanted to explore the world and share with everyone on her new business page. ❤️

Today felt like a field trip away from work 😂 I spent the afternoon doing a ship inspection of the Viking expedition ship, Polaris in downtown Detroit 🙌

What a beautiful ship it is!! It is built for expeditions and exploration all the way from Antarctica to the Great lakes. Did you know we have a Viking ship in the Great Lakes?! SO cool!
