Many Catholics wear a Miraculous Medal, but do you know its story? It's fascinating! The Blessed Mother appeared to Saint Catherine Labouré and showed her the design that we see today. She asked for the medal to be struck, and as people began wearing and carrying it, many experienced healing and conversion, and people began calling it the "Miraculous Medal."

We get asked all the time: "How should I dress on the pilgrimage?"

The short answer: Dress modestly, dress in layers, and pack a few items that you can mix and match into many outfits. However, we always suggest carrying one item daily: a lightweight scarf. It's great for tying an outfit together, adding some flair, or covering knees and shoulders in church, which may be required at your destination.

Rebecca, from our office, snapped this picture of the "community scarves" outside a monestary in Greece. So, pack light, dress in layers, and carry a scarf on your next pilgrimage.
