Planting season is underway in Hunterdon County, and that means more farm equipment will be traveling our local roads. Help keep our farmers — and everyone on the road — safe this season.

Please remember:
• Slow down immediately when approaching farm vehicles
• Never pass over double yellow lines
• Farm equipment often makes wide turns — give them space
• Watch for hand signals and flashing lights
• Avoid tailgating and stay alert behind slow-moving equipment

Hunterdon County loves our farms and farmers. Let’s do our part to keep them safe this planting season.
