🌎✨ WANDER THE WORLD WITH AKASHA IS ENTERING A NEW CHAPTER! ✨🌎

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately about where I want to take my travel business—and I realized something pretty damn exciting…

I never really stopped being a travel agent. I just got really busy building another business. 😂

But now I’m ready to put some serious energy back into Wander the World with Akasha by Dream Vacations. 🛳️✈️🌎

And the timing feels PERFECT.

I’ve already been booking travel again, including a Viking River Cruise for friends, a small Caribbean cruise, and I’m currently working on a larger group trip. And let me tell you… it feels REALLY good to be back in my travel groove!

One of the things I love most about this business is that I can literally do it from anywhere my laptop is.

At home? Yep.
At the WagWorld Pub? Absolutely.
Sitting at an airport? Yep.
On a cruise ship? Even better. 😂
On vacation? You better believe I’m still thinking about travel!

In fact, you may have seen me sitting at the pub with my laptop open while things are slow. That's because I'm booking vacations while I'm waiting for the next round of pups and humans to walk through the door. 🐾💻🍹

And I'm realizing that this flexibility is exactly what I want more of in my life.

BUT THERE'S MORE…

I’m also in the process of becoming a partner within Dream Vacations, which means I’ll have the opportunity to recruit and mentor new travel advisors.

And THAT part has me really excited.

Before becoming a business owner, I spent years working for WTH and was a lead trainer for new hires every fall. I loved teaching people, helping them find their confidence, and watching them figure out how to turn something they were learning into something they could actually DO.

So I want to bring that part of myself back, too.

I’m not interested in simply signing people up and saying, “Good luck!”

I want to teach, coach, support and help develop travel advisors who actually want to build a real travel business.

So Wander the World with Akasha is going to be about more than just booking YOUR next vacation.

It’s going to be about:

🌎 Helping people WANDER the world
🛳️ Helping clients find the right cruise or vacation
💼 Helping people learn how to build a travel business
🎓 Coaching new advisors
🤝 Building a community of travel professionals
✈️ And creating a business that gives ME the freedom to travel more, too!

Because here's what I've learned:

I don't want to build a business that keeps me trapped in one place.

I want to build businesses that allow me to LIVE.

And travel has always been a huge part of who I am.

So… I'm back. 😉

Some of you may remember this chapter of my life — and some of you are about to meet one of my greatest passions next to WagWorld. 💙

Yes, I’m still running WagWorld Pub, but as we head into our slower season, I finally feel ready to reopen my travel world and do what I’ve loved for decades: help people plan unforgettable vacations.

✨ What I specialize in:

🚢 Cruises — this is my sweet spot
I can book other travel, but cruising is where I truly shine.
Here’s how I work, because I believe in setting clear expectations so I can deliver a remarkable experience:

• Simple cruise bookings (no air, hotel, or excursion planning):
👉 No fee at all — the cruise line pays me
👉 I often include a booking gift as a thank-you for booking with me

• Air, hotel, or complex planning requests:
✈️ Airlines pay $0 commission
🏨 Hotels (unless all-inclusive) pay very little, if anything
For those bookings, I charge $25/hour, based on complexity.

I’m great at planning air + hotel packages (I do it for myself all the time), but they’re very time-intensive — this structure allows me to give your trip the attention it deserves.

Top 10 reasons I think Virgin is the best cruise experience at sea for adults:

1. No kids!
2. Naturally inclusive vs. Nickel and dime cruise line.
3. Best food at sea! Being a foodie this is very important and it's automatically included vs. being an upcharge!
4. Includes basic wi-fi (most cruise lines this is an add-on.
5. Their technology is the best I have seen with their apps, bands vs. cards and their free movie/TV selection is great!
6. Includes gratuities
7. Bar bills you can share and typically you are given $200-$600 to spend on optional items when you book a balcony. They also have set rates for drinks and not up charged as much.
8. New ships - even the first ship Scarlet lady was built in 2020 and didn't sail till late 2021 due to COVID.
9. Incredible fun entertainment.
10. Service is top notch.
