Florence County Progress congratulates—big wins for baseball in our region! ⚾

At Francis Marion University, Charlie Bussey III broke the NCAA Division II record for runs scored in a season, finishing with 104 runs in just 52 games—the fastest in history to reach 100 runs. (Bussey also reached 31 career home runs at Francis Marion.)

FMU Baseball also set a new single-season record with its 42nd win, marking one of the strongest seasons in program history

At Florence-Darlington Technical College, the Stingers continue to dominate, capturing the NJCAA Region 10 Championship for the third consecutive year.

Congratulations to the players, coaches, and supporters behind these outstanding accomplishments! Thank you for making Florence County proud.
