Okay, let’s have a St. Thomas travel chat this morning! 🏝️
St. Thomas/St. John is my family’s most repeated vacation. To say we love the USVI is an understatement.
Especially St. John but don’t get me started or we’ll be here all day. I LOVE, Love City. 🏝️❤️
I get asked multiple times a week about all-inclusive resorts in St. Thomas. The easy answer is, yes. Technically, there is 1 resort that offers an all-inclusive option/upgrade. While I don’t necessarily try to steer clients away from that option, I do like to set expectations. I wouldn’t call it a “true” all-inclusive. If you are a seasoned all-inclusive traveler and have experienced big resorts and love the large buffets/multiple unlimited food options etc., this might not be the best option for you. You do get 3 meals per day, à la cart only and unlimited drinks. Food is not unlimited like it is at larger resorts. When I have priced this resort in the past for clients the upgrade charge per person seems to run about $700 for a 5 night stay.
Clients often ask what my personal opinion is and that’s a tricky question for me. I’ve never stayed at the all-inclusive on St. Thomas, so I can’t really give a first hand experience. We tend to roam the island. We rent a car and visit as many beaches as we can and have the locals tell us which restaurant we should eat that night!
I honestly don’t think there’s a right or wrong choice, it’s all personal preference.
