This is the Coconut Bay Resort in St Lucia - it consists of three sections. The adults only Harmony section, the family friendly Splash section, and the luxury adults only Serenity at Coconut Bay which is located behind the main resort but still a fairly short walk to the beach. The suites there are spectacular with plunge pools and are very private. The Harmony and Splash areas are part of the main resort on the beach - some facilities are shared and some are adults only and some are for families with a large water park. This resort is great for families with a petting zoo, soccer field, paint ball area, water park, lazy river and an excellent kids club for babies on up. It is also nice for adults with a quiet pool area where the spa is located. We have received excellent feedback on this place. The only drawback is the beach at times is not the best - especially compared to other resorts on the Caribbean or west side of the island. This resort is south VERY close to the airport so no long transfers to your hotel and it is also closer to the Pitons and other sights in that area.

While down in St Lucia I toured 7 other properties. Today I will post some pics and information on the smaller luxury boutique hotel Calabash Cove. It is adults only and much more laid back than Secrets but still had a nice pool area and beach and very nice rooms. Only 26 rooms!! All king bed. All Inclusive but they do have just a breakfast plan if wanted. Only 4 swim up rooms and 9 cottages.

Sorry for not posting yesterday. I was stuck in my room helping out people with missed flight connections due to the snow storm. Today before I go home is all about relaxation before going home tomorrow! Here are some pictures of Secrets St Lucia!! Took a kayak out today and had a blast!! Food and service has been excellent!! St Lucians are very friendly and fun!!

Friday Night Street Party in Gros Islet, St Lucia!! Highly recommend! So much fun with great local food and of course all kinds of booze including home made spiced rum.
