Poor Hank is wishing he had a home. His brother Elvis was adopted, leaving Hank all alone just waiting. He’s a handsome puppy, all hound mix. He doesn’t talk a lot, he just looks at you with those puppy dog eyes, eager for attention. He’s just a happy go lucky roly poly pup. If you’re looking to welcome a sweet, fun, happy puppy to welcome to your heart and home, check out Hank’s profile at www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org

Incredible shot of a dolphin peeking out of the water at sunrise to smile for the camera. Such an awesome once-in-a-lifetime photo by Donald Tipton.

Expensive to get there from here this year!

The same $100-plus price tag on a barrel of crude oil that's driving up prices at the pump is pushing up the price of jet fuel.

It's always difficult to advise clients on destinations that have experienced unrest. You don't want to scare them away from countries that have a lot to offer and need the business. But you always worry about your clients!

It's been more than a year since the Arab Spring spirit of revolution swept through the Middle East, and the fallout continues to affect travel. Which countries are safe to visit, and which ones should you avoid? Check out our list.

Ski.com Inside Track for February 28, 2012
Last weekend one of my best friends came to Aspen from Telluride bearing what, to me, is the best kind of gift around: a 12-pack of Bridal Veil Rye Pale Ale, two pint glasses and a growler of Whacked Out Wheat beer, all from the newly-opened Telluride Brewing Company. She knows I am always up for taste-testing a new brew and it's no secret that craft beer and mountain culture go hand in hand. This sparked a discussion in the Ski.com offices, which led to the below list of what we consider to be our favorite brew pubs to throw back a pint or two after a day on the mountain.

Telluride Brewing Company - Telluride, CO: "Adventure brought us to these mountains. Friendship made us stay. Community made Telluride our home." A dream of two Telluride transplants finally came to fruition last fall when Telluride Brewing Company opened their doors. As one of the highest microbreweries in the world, Telluride Brewing Company serves up a variety of beers that come straight from Rocky Mountain snowmelt. Their beers are made with premium malts, hops and yeasts creating rich aromas and smooth-tasting flavors.

Deschutes Brewery - Bend, OR: An older, well-known brewery, the Deschutes Brewery was established in downtown Bend in 1988. Its beer can be found at many bars and liquor stores across the west but there's nothing quite like experiencing it where it all began. Spend a day on the slopes of Mt. Bachelor then head into Bend to do an après bar/brew pub crawl starting at Deschutes. With nearly a dozen breweries in town, Bend has more breweries per capita than anywhere else in the U.S.

Snake River Brewing - Jackson Hole, WY: Established in 1994 in the heart of the Teton Mountain Range, Snake River Brewing has won hundreds of national and international brewing awards including "Small Brewery of the Year" at the Great American Beer Festival in both 2000 and 2001. All roads, trails, bike paths, climbing routes and ski runs lead to Jackson Hole's favorite restaurant, "The Brewpub"! After a day in the great outdoors how can you not partake in a tasty malt beverage and a delicious meal?

Breckenridge Brewery - Breckenridge, CO: Colorado's third craft brewery, Breckenridge Brewery, opened in 1990 and has since grown into one of the most successful craft beer and restaurant companies in the nation. Locals and visitors alike are still enjoying the original brewery located on Main Street in downtown Breckenridge.

To learn more on how you can get to the mountains this spring to enjoy a hand-crafted, local microbrew after a day on the slopes, visit the Ski.com special deals page or call 800-299-0656 to speak with one of our experienced Mountain Vacation Specialists.

Also, don't forget you still have one more day to enter to win a free ski vacation in Vail and Beaver Creek. One lucky winner will receive four nights of lodging in a one-bedroom condominium at St. James Place in Beaver Creek, and two, three-day lift tickets valid at Vail and Beaver Creek. Be sure to visit our page to enter by February 29 and good luck!

See you in the tasting room.

These bad guys just don't seem to realize they are biting the hand that feeds them when they attack tourists. Such a shame. Puerto Vallarta is a lovely destination.

Carnival Cruise Lines suspended a guided nature-trail excursion in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, after 22 passengers sailing on the Carnival Splendor were robbed at gunpoint during the tour on Feb. 23.
