It's shaping up to be a beautiful Saturday in Floyd, VA, this weekend!

Start your day at the Floyd Farmers Market from 9 AM - 1 PM at the Community Market Pavilion, then head over to the Floyd Makers Market on Jacksonville Circle from 10 AM - 2 PM to shop handcrafted goods from talented local artisans, enjoy delicious food from local vendors, and relax with live music from Dog Water.

While you're in town, be sure to explore the Floyd Artisan Trail (happening both Sat. & Sun.), where you can visit local artists in their studios, and stop by Floyd CARE's Juneteenth Celebration in the Warren G. Lineberry Park from 4 - 7 PM for a day of community, culture, and celebration.

Experience a weekend of exceptional classical music in Floyd with two special performances presented by Virginia's Blue Ridge Music Festival!

America at 250 - Friday, June 19th at 6:30 PM
Held at The Presbyterian Church of Floyd, this inspiring concert celebrates America's musical heritage with works by Gershwin, Copland, Joplin, and Duke Ellington. The performance features David Stewart Wiley on piano, violinist Akemi Takayama, flutist Julee Hickcox, and oboist William Parrish, along with talented local young musicians.

Beethoven & Mozart in the Mountains - Sunday, June 21st at 3:00 PM
Don't miss this extraordinary performance at the Floyd Event Center as Maestro David Stewart Wiley conducts Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante and Beethoven's Double French Horn Concerto. Featuring acclaimed soloists Akemi Takayama, Satoko Rickenbacker, Christopher Caudill, and Rachel Niketopoulos, this is an opportunity to experience world-class classical music right here in Floyd. Tonight’s the night! The 9th Annual Floyd Small Town Summer Event Series kicks off this evening at Warren G. Lineberry Memorial Park with a great lineup of music and family fun.

Enjoy a performance by Hoppie Vaughan & The Ministers of Soul, with an opening set by Caitlin Krisko and The Broadcast - Acoustic Duo. After the music, enjoy a showing of Zootopia 2 under the stars.

This FREE, family-friendly event begins at 6 pm and marks the start of a summer filled with music, movies, and community gatherings every other Thursday through August 27th. Bring a chair, bring your friends, and kick off the summer season in Floyd!
