Floyd County does not have large commercial lodging businesses. While this gives us a quaint, small-town feel that contributes greatly to our visitor appeal, it also means that we do not have substantial transient lodging taxes. Floyd County’s tourism initiative has required a blend of both public and private monies to support a county-wide effort – particularly at initial phases. THANK YOU to the private businesses who have supported the development of the tourism initiative:

Ambrosia Farm B&B
Appalachian Power
Beaver Glen B&B
Bell Gallery & Garden
Bella La Vita Inn
Blue Ridge Land & Auction
Chateau Morrisette Winery
Chantilly Farm
Citizens Telephone Cooperative
Floyd Country Store
Floyd Lodging Association
Green Label Organic
Hotel Floyd
Mountain Rose Inn
Mountain Song Inn
Natural Awakenings Magazine
Oak Haven Lodge
Phoenix Hardwoods
Stoney Meadow B&B
The Cottage on Main
The Jacksonville Center for the Arts

And thank you to the Virginia Tourism Corporation for a 2013 Marketing Leverage Grant for support of the new tourism website and its marketing.
