The final Floyd Small Town Summer concert of the season is this week! Head to Warren G. Lineberry Park on Thursday, August 27th, at 6 PM for a H***y Tonk Dance Party featuring the SWVA H***y Tonk All-Stars with Redd Volkaert, Rachael Hester, Silas Hamilton, and band. The evening will start with a special set by Jesse Smathers and Nick Goad.

This FREE, family-friendly concert is the perfect way to close out the summer. Bring your friends, family, and, most importantly, your dancing shoes!

This Saturday, experience the music, art, and traditions of Floyd at the 4th Annual Floyd Living Traditions Festival! From 10 AM to 5 PM on August 22nd at the Floyd Center for the Arts, this FREE, family-friendly festival offers a full day of Appalachian culture and creativity.

Explore traditional crafts and art, listen to live music, watch demonstrations, shop from local vendors, hear stories, and take part in hands-on activities. With so much to see and experience throughout the day, there are plenty of opportunities to discover the traditions that continue to shape Floyd's community.

Don’t forget to check out the kickoff celebration on August 21st during the Friday Night Jamboree at The Floyd Country Store! The evening begins at 6:30 PM with a gospel performance by The Farleys, followed by two old-time dance sets from Twin Creeks Stringband at 7:30 PM.

The 19th Annual Floyd County Tractor Fun Run starts at 10 AM at the Arlie Thompson Farm on Route 221 and runs throughout Floyd County.
