For 34 years, Visconti’s has been more than a restaurant, it’s been part of the story of Folsom.

Since opening their doors in October 1992, the Visconti family has brought that tradition to Folsom, creating scratch-made meals, welcoming guests like family, and building a place where memories are made every day. It’s where they raised their children and grandchildren, where friendships have formed, celebrations have happened, and where countless community members have made traditions of their own.

For over three decades, Folsom has embraced the Visconti family, and in return, they’ve embraced this community right back, serving not just incredible food, but hospitality, connection, and a place that feels like home.

Last night, we celebrated the ribbon cutting for All Creatures Veterinary Emergency Clinic, and one thing became incredibly clear: this team isn’t just passionate about veterinary medicine, they’re passionate about showing up for families during some of their hardest moments!

Built on compassion, empathy, affordability, and a belief that every animal deserves exceptional care, they are creating a space where pets receive expert treatment and pet owners receive support when they need it most.

Thank you for investing in our community and for being there when Folsom’s furry (and not-so-furry!) family members need you most. Congratulations on this exciting milestone we can’t wait to watch you grow! 🎉🐶🐱🦜

HAPPY FOLSOM FRIDAY! ☀️🎉

Today, Rachel and Taylor went on a big adventure around Folsom! First stop: the IRA National Championships at Lake Natoma 🚣‍♀️🏆 one of the most prestigious collegiate rowing events in the country and the oldest collegiate rowing championship in the United States, dating all the way back to 1895! The championship has been bringing top collegiate athletes together for more than 130 years, and we’re proud that Folsom gets to play host to such an iconic event right here in our backyard.

We also made a quick stop at Dollar Tree to stock up on decorations for the birthday committee 👀 Let’s just say… there are a few VERY exciting birthdays around here next week 🤫

After soaking in all the action on the water, we spent the afternoon all around town delivering plaques, dropping off letters, and saying hi to some of the incredible businesses that make Folsom such a special place 💙

Happy Folsom Friday! 🚲☀️

In honor of Bike Month, the Choose Folsom team got outside to enjoy some of the incredible biking Folsom has to offer. We kicked things off at Practical Cycle in Historic Folsom, where the team picked up a mix of traditional bikes and e-bikes (they truly have something for everyone 👏).

From there, we cruised along the beautiful Johnny Cash Trail before wrapping up the ride with lunch at Crawdads on the Lake. Such a fun reminder that Folsom really is the perfect place to live, work, and play. 🌿

The Folsom Chamber of Commerce has announced endorsements for upcoming Congressional, State Senate, and State Assembly races.

✔️ State Assembly: Josh Hoover
✔️ State Senate: Roger Niello
✔️ U.S. Congress District 3: Ami Bera

The Chamber’s endorsement process focuses on candidates who support economic growth, business advocacy, workforce development, infrastructure, and policies that help the Greater Folsom business community thrive.

Local race endorsements for Folsom City Council and the FCUSD Board are expected to be announced in early June.
