What a great day in DC! We managed to get tickets to the White House Spring Garden Tour! Yes!!! We are on the grounds of the South Lawn. To our delight, the President's Band was playing as we entered the grounds. We saw the wing of the oval office, the White House Kitchen Garden, and where the Easter egg roll races take place every year. This the is where Marine One lands and takes off, as well. Though it's rare to secure tickets, Happy Trails Tours has managed to get them quite a few times over the years and it's always an exciting time for our groups!
