We’re hiring! IDS is seeking experienced Adjudicators to support a federal background investigations contract in fully remote positions.

Qualified candidates must have federal agency adjudication experience and have completed National Training Standards (NTS)-compliant adjudications training prior to beginning work on the contract.

Acceptable training includes:
• Federal agency NTS-compliant adjudications training
• DCSA Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) adjudications training
• Suite EA adjudications training completed in accordance with the NTS for Adjudicators

Information Discovery Services (IDS) is seeking experienced Background Investigators to support public trust pre-employment investigations for law enforcement agency hiring in Dallas and surrounding areas.

This opportunity may be available as either an Intermittent Employee (W-2) or Independent Contractor (1099) position. Investigators will review case materials, conduct comprehensive subject and source interviews, prepare clear and timely investigative reports, and manage assigned cases to ensure customer deadlines are met. The role requires strong interviewing, writing, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to work independently and manage a varying caseload.

A minimum of one year of investigative experience is required. Independent Contractors must hold a current Texas Private Investigator License, while Intermittent Employees may apply for licensure under IDS. Local travel within Dallas, Collin County, and surrounding areas will be required.

This month’s Employee Feature spotlights Jena Rodemoyer, a valued Quality Assurance Case Reviewer supporting Commercial Review at IDS. In her role, Jena helps ensure the quality and consistency of our work while promoting a high level of customer satisfaction through knowledgeable review and responsive service.

Jena has been with IDS for four years and brings 15 years of industry experience to the organization. She began her career as a Material Analyst in personnel security before moving into Review and has since gained extensive experience supporting background investigation programs.

One of the things Jena values most about IDS is its close-knit culture. She appreciates how well employees work together to solve issues and credits the friendly, collaborative environment as one of the things that makes IDS a great place to work.

Outside of work, Jena is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins fan. She and her husband enjoy boating, fishing, and spending time at the shooting range. Her husband also plays bass guitar in an ’80s band called “Government Cheese.” Jena is a proud mom of twin daughters who are now married and pursuing careers as a graphic designer and in the medical field. She also enjoys an annual tradition of traveling to the Florida Keys, where she has visited family for the past 16 years.

We are fortunate to have Jena as part of the IDS family. Her experience, commitment to quality, and collaborative spirit make a meaningful contribution to her team and IDS as a whole.

As we rapidly expand this program, we are seeking experienced, credentialed Independent Contractor (1099) Background Investigators with prior federal investigative experience to join our growing nationwide team. Currently credentialed investigators are strongly preferred.

This month's Employee Feature spotlights Todd Adolph, a valued member of the IDS Investigations Department. As a Field Investigator, Todd conducts complex background investigative work that requires attention to detail, sound judgment, and integrity. With 2½ years at IDS and more than 25 years of investigative experience, Todd brings a wealth of knowledge to every case he handles. Prior to joining IDS, he held investigative roles with several other personnel security vendors, building a career dedicated to excellence in investigative operations and client support.

Outside of work, family is Todd's greatest priority. He enjoys spending time with his wife, mom, daughters, grandson, and his two dogs, who make sure he gets his daily walks to the park. When he's not with family, you'll often find him listening to music, gaming, working out at the gym, or tackling home improvement projects around his own home and his children's homes.

One of Todd's favorite family traditions was playing together as a "band" using the Rock Band video game. While the family band has long since retired, the memories—and the close family bond—remain. He also enjoys traveling with his family, especially on cruises, and is a lifelong football fan who enjoys visiting New Orleans and exploring the French Quarter.

Todd's experience, professionalism, and dedication to delivering high-quality investigative services make him an invaluable member of the IDS team. We're grateful for his contributions and proud to recognize him as this month's Employee Spotlight.
