Fun fact… this is actually my second favorite park at Walt Disney World, and I’m always asking myself why I don’t give it more attention.

Rain starting at EPCOT? Don’t waste your park time hiding under an awning… Disney Visa Cardholders, I’ve got a better spot. ☔️

Did you know you can meet Mickey & Goofy OR Minnie & Pluto at the Disney Visa Cardholder photo spot between 1pm and 6:30pm.

All you need to enter the line is proof that you’re a Disney Visa Cardholder.

Heads up, the photo spot has temporarily moved next door to the Magic Eye Theater.

This makes it a great rainy day stop. Meet your characters, then head further inside the Magic Eye Theater for the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival.

You don’t have to be a Disney Visa Cardholder to enjoy the shorts! It’s a great little break from the rain, with A/C and a comfortable spot to enjoy three short films, including the classic “Get a Horse!”

Think it’s too late to plan your fall Disney vacation? Think again. 🎃🏰

The E family is heading back to their happy place for nine nights at Walt Disney World, and this one is extra special because Grandpa is coming along for the magic.

Finding nine consecutive nights at a resort that checked all their boxes took some digging, but we found it at a tried and true favorite… Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside.

And they’re staying in one of the newly refurbished Royal Guest Rooms, which I absolutely LOVE. The rooms are elegant, beautifully updated, and filled with magical details without feeling overly princessy. 👑

They’ll be park hopping to their favorite parks, enjoying Halloween festivities at their resort, and making the most of their nine nights together.

AND we were able to apply a Disney Plus Perks discount that saved them a significant amount of money on their vacation. 🙌

This is exactly why I tell people not to assume their Disney vacation is out of reach just because they’re planning later than they expected.

Because if the choice is a verandah stateroom or getting back on the ship sooner… I’m taking the next cruise.

We’re too busy ordering room service cheeseburgers, grabbing unlimited soft serve and crispy Cokes, competing in trivia, hunting for characters, lounging on the pool deck watching Funnel Vision, catching our Broadway style show, enjoying rotational dining, booking spa dates, relaxing at the adult pool, watching the sunset, dressing up for Pirate Night, watching the fireworks at sea, exploring the ship and making new friends along the way.

The room is where we sleep.

The ship is where we LIVE.

So if choosing an inside stateroom means we can put that extra money toward the next sailing?

The B family is heading to Alaska in June 2027 aboard Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas for a 7 night bucket list sailing.

Whales are at the top of their list, and I cannot wait for them to experience Alaska together.

They’ll sail from Seattle and spend the week exploring Sitka, Skagway and Juneau, with a visit into Endicott Arm to see Dawes Glacier. 🏔️

Between the wildlife, the scenery and getting up close to a glacier, this is going to be one incredible family adventure.
