TRAVEL TIP TUESDAY: When booking a trip with multiple components (flights, lodging, tours, etc), consider purchasing ONE insurance policy to cover the ENTIRE trip, as opposed to the add-ons offered on each separate element. That way, you only have to file one claim if anything goes wrong.

TRAVEL TIP TUESDAY: Today is a favorite for airlines to post outlandish "deals," like flying $9 one-way in "vertical class," meaning you'll be standing the entire flight. While these April Fool's jokes are cute, don't fall for the other, legitimate deals without doing your homework. Airfare add-ons can get costly fast.
