Somehow we’ve reached the middle of summer and Tuesdays on the Hudson ☀️ Grab your paddle board, kayak, bike, yoga mat, or volleyball and head to Fort Edward today to take advantage of our many recreational opportunities 🛶 and don’t forget to grab some food and drink from our local businesses for breakfast, lunch, and dinner — happy hour starts at 4pm with trivia 7-9pm at and live music with river views 6-9pm at 🍔

Tuesdays on the Hudson! returns next week! ☀️ We are thrilled to head into a third summer showcasing Fort Edward’s recreational opportunities and wonderful local businesses.

Mark your calendars: 🗓️ July 1-August 26! 👋🏼

With both ☕️ daytime and 🍻 happy hour (4-8pm) activities, there’s enough to keep you busy all day long. Explore Fort Edward’s downtown and Rogers Island by 🚲 bike and foot, kayak the Hudson River 🛶, head to the Yacht Basin for free yoga 🧘 and volleyball 🏐, and enjoy food and drink specials at wonderful local restaurants 🥞🍔, brewery 🍺, and visiting food trucks.

🛶 We are so excited to share an incredible addition to Fort Edward: an ADA-compliant accessible boat launch right in the heart of downtown! Two years in the making, this project has been a true labor of love by Promote Fort Edward, the Village and Town of Fort Edward, NYS Canal Corporation, and local business, Candock Adirondack who designed and installed the launch.

🎀 Please join us tomorrow, Monday, October 14 at 12:30pm for a ribbon cutting at the launch, located on the southern point of the Fort Edward Yacht Basin. (Please check back for a rain location if needed - TBD by 9am)

☀️ We are already looking forward to kicking off next spring and summer with this exciting new community asset ready for all to enjoy!
