UPDATE: The beach is open for the weekend! Water levels are back to normal.

The Sandbar Beach will remain open today (Friday), but swimming is suspended due to low water levels, beyond the Town’s control. The beach will be closed Saturday 9/5, until further notice, while we await information about when the water levels will be back to normal. Please check back for updates. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The Town of Moreau is hiring a full time Recreation Department Clerk. The position will have a 35 hour work week and a salary of $48,204 per year. Applications are available at Town Hall, or online at https://www.townofmoreau.org/job_opportunities.asp

Closures - Wednesday, July 29th:
The Sandbar Beach will be closed due to the weather.
All playing fields at the Harry J. Betar Recreation Park will be closed, due to field maintenance, for the entire day. (Baseball, Quads, American Legion, the bowl, soccer, lacrosse, etc) The playgrounds, basketball courts and other facilities at the park will remain open.
