Booking an award seat for yourself does not automatically solve the infant ticket.
Depending on the airline, a lap infant may require:
• A separate phone call
• Cash payment
• Additional miles
• A percentage of the adult fare
Check the infant rules before transferring points.

American Airlines miles can expire after 24 months without qualifying activity.
There are exemptions, including for some cardholders and members under 21, but most members should monitor their last qualifying transaction.

You can transfer World of Hyatt points to Aeroplan at 2:1.
That means 20,000 Hyatt points become only 10,000 Aeroplan points. Because Hyatt points can be extremely valuable for hotel stays, transferring them should usually be a last resort.
