What a great gem located just down the street from Las Olas Boulevard! The Holly Blue is in the former Lutheran Church building that has been transformed into a dining oasis. Our waiter greeted us promptly and told us the tale of this historic landmark and then offered his suggestions for cocktails. They offer a seasonal menu as well as a regular menu of innovative and eclectic, Continental Cuisine. The expansive outdoor dining is great for groups, large or small, with lush greenery, a multi-level patio and subtle lighting to create a warm ambience. There are even some whimsical decorations of hanging monkeys located throughout the upper patio. The Holly Blue has a Sommelier who is there to assist with wine pairing for your meal - with over 120 bottles to choose from and vintners from all over the world, there is a wine for every palate! The food was delicious as well as artistically presented. I had the Grilled Brie Appetizer and Sea Bass with Rice Cake. Plan on spending between $100 - $125 per person for a nice meal and drinks…well worth it for the experience. The food quality and service were exceptional! We will definitely be back!
