Here’s a look at some of the biggest announcements from tonight’s Disney Experiences Showcase:

🚗 Piston Peak is coming to Magic Kingdom! The new Cars-inspired expansion will bring guests into a larger-than-life world inspired by Pixar Animation Studios’ Cars, complete with new attractions and immersive storytelling.

🦹‍♀️ Villains Land just got even more wicked! New details were shared about this massive expansion, which will feature two major attractions, dining, shopping and immersive environments inspired by some of Disney’s most iconic villains. The land will be comparable in scale and immersion to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

🌎 Exciting updates were revealed for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Including new details about the upcoming Encanto attraction, Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, and plans to bring the legendary Expedition Everest Yeti back to life.

👾 Monstropolis continues to take shape Fans got a new look at the highly anticipated Monsters, Inc.-inspired expansion with the land including Harryhausen’s restaurant and the “Welcome to Monstropolis” show opening in 2027! The door coaster attraction will open in a second phase at a later date.

💜 Dreamfinder is returning to EPCOT! One of the loudest cheers of the night came when Disney announced Dreamfinder will return alongside Figment in a reimagined Journey Into Imagination attraction.

🎠 Carousel of Progress is getting an update as the beloved Disney classic will receive new scenes and storytelling elements while honoring its iconic legacy when it opens in late spring 2027.

A few weeks ago I found out the Carousel of Progress as I know and love it will be changing forever. I was so sad that the last time I experienced this classic attraction I didn't know it was my last time.

I decided to book a last minute trip to Walt Disney World to see it for the official last time. Pete and I flew to Orlando on Jun 18 after he was done work for the day. We stayed at the Boardwalk which is truly one of our favorites.

On Friday June 19th we spent a very very hot day at the Magic Kingdom that ended in a torrential downpour.

On Saturday June 20th I went to Epcot to experience a special Travel Agent appreciation event for Cool Kids Summer! We spent the afternoon swimming. Had an amazing dinner at Trattoria al Forno on the boardwalk and then had drinks with some of our favorite people!

On Sunday June 21st we had "Our Last Meal" at Sanaa. We always end here! The Bread Service is our favorite.
