Okay, I know we're nowhere near Halloween, but if you've followed me for any length of time, you know I love a good spooky travel story. 😅

One of my favorite haunted spots is Muriel's in Jackson Square in New Orleans. Legend has it that a former owner, Pierre Antoine Lepardi Jourdan, still hangs around the restaurant today—and they actually keep a table permanently set for him! 👀🍷

Whether you believe in ghosts or not, I think visiting haunted places is such a fun way to experience the history and stories of a destination.

Did you know the trail of white water behind a cruise ship is called a wake? It's created as the ship's hull pushes through the ocean, creating waves and bubbles that can stretch for miles behind the vessel.

Besides looking beautiful, a ship's wake can actually tell you the direction the ship has traveled and is often one of the best views onboard!
