IYKYK. 🚢

📍Perfect Day at CocoCay

Tag your favourite cruise bestie to remind them you’re due for a cruise 😂😇

I spent weeks trying to get my baby to crawl.

Dad pulls out a remote control car and suddenly we have a crawler 😂🚗

I can’t even be mad, except that now my baby will be crawling on his FIRST vacation instead of sitting happily in a carrier 👀🫣.

🚢 Comment “CRUISE” and i’ll send the link of the one I use on Royal Caribbean!

As a mom cruising with kids, we already have SO many things to charge on vacation 😮‍💨. Phones, tablets, headphones, the list goes on!

That’s why an extension cord seems like a good idea, BUT what you can bring depends on your cruise line.

🚫 Royal Caribbean, Disney and MSC: extension cords are not allowed. Instead, look for USB/C charging ports WITHOUT the AC electrical power outlet.

✅ Carnival, Princess & Norwegian: certain non-surge-protected extension cords are allowed.

So before you throw one in your suitcase, check your cruise line’s rules or risk having your luggage delayed. 🫠

Save this for your next family vacation! 🛳️

Don’t be like me and think a few pictures of the damage at the terminal will be enough! 😅

Getting off the cruise with kids was already chaotic and I thought “It’ll be fine, we’ll just deal with it when we get home.”

WELL turns out that little report at the terminal was REALLY important. 🙃

Since I didn’t have it, Plan B became my credit card insurance 🙌🏻

So if you’re cruising with Royal Caribbean, SAVE this for future you! 🛳️

The last thing you want after getting everyone off the ship is to realize you missed an important step.

Taking your baby to the beach for the first time? Learn from my mistake!

Regular strollers do NOT do well in sand and trying to push one across the beach with a baby feels like a FULL on workout 😅

What helped:

👉🏻 pulling the stroller instead of pushing
📍choosing beaches/cruise ports with beach strollers or large wheel rentals
👉🏻 bringing a wagon instead (if you have room to pack one).

Private destinations like this one from Royal Caribbean’s Cococay in the Bahamas have these available for free and were SO useful for the first year of cruising with a baby!
