At 6 p.m., the Blue Angels flew in from the northwest, crossing over the east end of Ono Island and Perdido Key.

No Beach Buzz tonight.

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 @ 4:45𝐩𝐦: Fat Albert just took off from Smyrna, TN. It is less than a 1.5-hour flight once the Blues are airborne. If we get a Beach Buzz today, we’re expecting it around 6:00.

𝗢𝗕𝗔 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁: The Blue Angels are flying home today from Columbus, OH. We should see them in our area between 5:30 and 6:30 pm. We will update this post if we receive any additional information. Once the Blues are in the area, watch the comments on this post for updates on sighting locations.

As always, we never know their flight plan or if they'll give us a Beach Buzz, and if they do, what beaches they’ll buzz. In the past, they generally made their final turn around Perdido Pass. This year they’ve been making their final turn over Johnson Beach, skipping the Beach Buzz for most of Perdido Key and Orange Beach. Occasionally, they will Buzz the Beaches all the way to Gulf Shores, but that has been very rare this year. We just have to wait and see.

SUNDAY AUGUST 24, 2025, WEEKLY PLANNER:
We are expecting a Beach Buzz tonight! The Blue Angels will be returning from Columbus, Ohio later this afternoon. We calculate based on performance time, fueling, departure, and distance and believe the window will be from 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM. Beach buzzes are never guaranteed nor are their locations.
The surest place to see this is the Pensacola Beach Pier area. If you choose to try to watch from any other location, you are taking a gamble. Negative comments about them "skipping your location" later will not be tolerated.

There are scheduled practices this week on Tuesday and Wednesday with autographs in the Blue Angels atrium afterwards at 12:00 PM.
If you have questions about practices... What time do I need to get there? Where can I watch from? What can I bring? Do I need chairs? What kind of ID do I need to get on base? Do I really need a REAL ID? What about a paper form of a REAL ID until I get my permanent one?
