Captain Charley was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana but has been residing in Lee County, Florida since 1981. Charley was an owner of Rodes Seafood in Bonita Springs since 1987 and has developed a tremendous following of loyal customers and residents due to his vast knowledge of fish and friendly advice. Charley’s experience as a fisherman and fish connoisseur makes th

e fishing charter not only fun but extremely informative. Captain Charley loves to fish the waters of the Estero Bay, which is a shallow body of water that covers approximately 15 square miles. This body of water holds approximately 30 species of fish on a regular basis. It is not uncommon to see Manatee, Sharks, Dolphin, Osprey, Hawks or an American Bald Eagle during a fishing trip. Charley enjoys bringing smiles to all of his clients, especially children. Captain Charley loves to accommodate families on his 24’ Carolina Skiff which is powered by a 115 Yamaha motor.
