This is something new and fun to do! The Boston Red Sox announced that the world-famous Savannah Bananas will bring “The Greatest Show in Sports” to JetBlue Park for the first time from Feb. 14-16 and return to Fenway Park on July 5-6 as part of their 2025 Banana Ball World Tour.

Tickets for the Savannah Bananas are lottery-based, and fans who are interested in attending should visit thesavannahbananas.com/tickets and join the Ticket Lottery List for an opportunity to purchase tickets.

Are you ready for the holiday events; here is one you might enjoy! https://www.fmwcc.net/house This is a holiday house Christmas stroll through December 31st in downtown Ft Myers. There is also a festival of trees at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center (2301 First Street) December 5-8th.

For sixty-eight years our club has been proud to host Holiday House. The members of FMWCC are excited to bring this timeless, treasured Southwest Florida tradition to life once more in a new and exciting fashion.

RSW has soon exciting news! Sounds of the Season will begin Monday, December 9th. Elementary and Middle Schools will be performing in the West Atrium (American, Jet Blue). AND here are some of the new restaurants coming as part of the expansion: Key Lime Bistro, The Boat House, Doc Ford's Rum Bar & Grille, Popeyes Chicken, Shula Burger and more. The Fort Myers Brewing Co. is already open in Concourse D....AND did you know there is a new water park https://www.metrolagoons.com/lagoon/brightwater/ in North Fort Myers.

Lakes Park in Fort Myers has so much for everyone to do. From the Train Museum to the actual train ride through tiny cities is for all ages. The park includes 2.5 miles of walking and biking trails that run along the lake. There is a playground for kids. The Botanical garden has a fragrance garden and the murals are compliments of the VCB. And there is a fabulous Farmers Market every Wednesday 9-1. Truly a treasure here.

Have you been to the Revs Institute in Naples yet? It is more than a car museum with so much history to discover. Auto Trader recently named it the No. 5 best auto museum in the world and No. 1 in Florida. The latest exhibit features the Ford GT40, with the highlight the 1967 Ford GT40 Mark III, one of only seven ever constructed, on loan. And for this Indy Girl, seeing an Indy Car was a highlight!

We don't often think about taking LeeTran buses, but at $1.50 a ride...maybe we should. There are the standard buses that go from RSW to many places (Bell Tower, Edison Mall, Lovers Key, Times Square, etc) You can also take buses from numerous other locations all around Lee County. https://www.leegov.com/leetran But there is also something called the Ultra that is on your UBER app....it will take you from your home (if in the map areas) to anywhere on the map below. It is primarily for Bonita Springs and LeHigh Acres and is available 7 days a week 7 am to 6 pm
