Hurricane season officially starts in a few days on June 1st, so here are some reminders and ideas on how to prepare for it!

Are you prepared for Hurricane Season?

Here’s FIVE things you can do to prepare for hurricane season:

1) learn the types of disasters in your community that can come with hurricanes.

2) have enough supplies for at least five days (optimally two weeks).

3) know when and where to shut off any gas, water, or electricity inside the home.

4) make an evacuation plan and if you have kids, call daycares and schools and determine their evacuation plans. Ask questions to them.

5) make plans for any pets or animals you may have, find the safest spot for your family to take shelter in, and if you all get separated, plan on how to stay connected.

Make sure to tell every family member in the household, even the children.

Coldwell Banker Paradise will be collecting donations for the victims of Hurricane Milton. Donations can be dropped off Monday and Tuesday from 9am – 5pm at any of our locations.

The devastation caused by the tornadoes has deeply impacted our community, and now is the time to show love and support to our neighbors in need. Let’s come together to help those who have lost so much.
