I thought it would be nice to post an update about Puerto Vallarta…I had a client visit the area recently. (These are her photos attached)
She said it’s as beautiful as ever there and never had any safety concerns. They depend on tourism for their economy so they are very diligent in restoring this destination to what it was before the unrest.
As with traveling anywhere, it’s always important to be aware of any potential dangers and purchase travel insurance for unforeseen disruptions.
Having a travel advisor working with you is always a huge benefit!

Many flights in and out of Mexico cancelled today…we will be watching this situation closely to see what happens!

Mexico: Due to ongoing security operations and related road blockages and criminal activity, U.S. citizens in the following locations should shelter in place until further notice: Jalisco State (including Puerto Vallarta, Chapala, and Guadalajara), Tamaulipas State (including Reynosa and other municipalities), areas of Michoacan State, Guerrero State, and Nuevo Leon State
