Glacier National Park deserves its own post — what a day! 🌲🚌🐻

We kicked things off early, cruising past pine forests (and yes, we spotted a bear! 🐾) before switching from our luxury coach to classic 1936 Red Ford Buses at Lake McDonald Lodge.

From there, it was all Going-to-the-Sun Road magic — jaw-dropping views, a stop at Logan Pass, and more scenic wonders as we rolled through East Glacier to St. Mary Village.

Next stop? The iconic Glacier Park Lodge, built by the Great Northern Railway. Historic charm + mountain vibes = perfection. 🌄❤️

Yesterday was one for the books!
We explored the artsy streets of Bigfork, wandered through the historic Conrad Mansion in Kalispell, and wrapped it all up with an unforgettable evening at the Lonesome Dove Guest Ranch – complete with horseback riding, lasso-throwing, a cowboy cookout, live music, and plenty of good beer and wine.

Universal Travel is in Montana – “The Last Best Place”

Our adventure began with a fabulous Welcome to Montana dinner, setting the tone for the unforgettable experiences ahead. We kicked off our journey in Missoula with a visit to the Smokejumper Visitor Center, where we gained fascinating insight into the brave firefighters who parachute into remote wildfires.

From Missoula, we headed north through the scenic Seeley-Swan Valley, a route rich with natural beauty and local charm. Along the way, we stopped at the High Country Trading Post, a treasure trove of Montana-made goods, and enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Double Arrow Resort, nestled in the heart of Big Sky country.

Our day ended in Whitefish, where we checked into the beautiful Grouse Mountain Lodge—our cozy and elegant home base for the next three nights.

✨ Every day on our Rails & Sails program just keeps getting better and better ✨

We endulged in a sumptuous lunch at the iconic Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa, followed by an unforgettable ride on the historic Mount Washington Cog Railway — the world’s first mountain-climbing cog railway, in service since 1869! 🚂 At the 6,288 ft summit, we were treated to breathtaking views.

Next stop: Kennebunkport, Maine for a fun-filled lobster cruise! 🦞🛥 With picture-perfect weather, we cruised past Walker’s Point Estate (the Bush family’s summer retreat) and even learned how to harvest lobster firsthand.

After some free time in town, we gathered for the perfect send-off: a lobster farewell dinner complete with steamers, lobster, and plenty of beer and wine. 🐚🦞🌽🍻🍷

Today, we said goodbye to our amazing travelers — but the memories will last a lifetime!

✨ We had an amazing 3-night stay in beautiful Newport, RI! Took the ferry to the enchanting Block Island 🌊—lunch on the porch of the charming National Hotel was truly delicious 🍽️. After a scenic island tour and some shopping, we headed back to Newport. The next morning, we set off north to New Hampshire 🚌. There, we boarded the Granite Scenic Railway and took in the stunning views along Lake Winnipesaukee 🚂🌲. Later, we cruised along the famous Kancamagus Scenic Byway 🍁—pure New England magic! 🍂✨

🌊✨ Universal Travel has landed in Newport, RI to kick off our Rails & Sails adventure!

We started with a welcome dinner at the iconic La Forge Casino Restaurant, right on the courts of the International Tennis Hall of Fame 🎾🍽️

Next up: Cruising the legendary Ocean Drive—10 miles of jaw-dropping coastal views, seaside breeze, and Gilded Age mansions 🏰🌅 We toured the crown jewel: The Breakers!

And the grand finale? A private sail aboard an 88-foot schooner around Narragansett Bay ⛵🍹 Waves, wind, wine, wow-worthy views, and of course, an open bar.

Stay tuned—this journey’s just getting started! 💙

Our Irish adventure ended with a fairytale finish! 🌿 We explored the wild beauty of Connemara National Park, strolled the dreamy grounds of Kylemore Abbey, and took in the sacred ruins of Clonmacnoise.

We raised a glass at Sean’s Bar, the oldest pub in Ireland 🥃, then checked into our stunning castle hotel for a farewell celebration to remember.

Our final day brought us to Dublin, where we toured iconic landmarks, visited the Guinness Storehouse, and had free time to shop Grafton Street before heading home with full hearts and incredible memories.

🍀 Ireland Just Keeps Getting Better! 🇮🇪

We began our Ring of Kerry day with a warm Irish (or Bailey’s) coffee at the Red Fox Inn before setting off on one of the most scenic drives in the world. After a cozy pub lunch, we took a jaunting carriage ride through the stunning Killarney National Park and ended the evening with a lively Gaelic show.

Next, we journeyed along the breathtaking Di**le Peninsula, stopping at the historic South Pole Inn (thanks, Tom Crean!) and a local jeweler for custom pieces before settling into the Dunraven Arms Hotel, a member of the small luxury hotels of the world, in the charming village of Adare.

Today’s highlight: the jaw-dropping Cliffs of Moher! Towering above the Atlantic, they took our breath away. We also enjoyed a traditional sheepdog demonstration on a family farm and made our way through the Burren to Westport—each mile more memorable than the last!
